Man with a Microphone is an interactive traveling exhibition based at the Charles Parker Archive in Birmingham. Charles was a pioneering BBC Radio producer who created a set of ground breaking radio programmes that, for almost the first time, used actual voices of working people recorded in the field. Parker worked in partnership with singers and political activists Ewan MacColl and Peggy Seeger. I researched, designed and programmed the project in 1994 and it is still operating today - 14 years later!
